Carl Feuerbacher was born August 19, 1890 in Austin, Texas. As a young man he was visiting his brother, Hugo, in San Antonio, Texas. There he met the girl across the street, Allie Lois Grevelle who was born in Webb County, Texas on October 4, 1895. He and Allie were married on January 15, 1915 in San Antonio, Texas. After they were married, he took his bride home to Austin and they bought the family farm where he had spent his boyhood. In the fall of 1929 they rented the farm to neighbors and he was employed full time as a pumper by the Shell Pipe Line Company, located near their home. He worked at this station until he was transferred again to Fredericksburg, Texas. He remained on this job until he retired in 1950. He bought a home in Fredericksburg, Texas and worked a fine garden, fruit trees and beautiful flowers. They lived there until his sudden death on February 24, 1955. Allie tried to carry on with the farm but it proved too much for her, so in 1960 she sold it. Aunt Allie still lives in Fredericksburg, Texas, next door to her only child, a daughter. (1981: Additions & Corrections--Aunt Allie died on May 16, 1978 in Fredericksburg, Texas.)
